Our roots are in Southern California, but our branches have extended to the Gulf Coast. We are a Technology Driven Crown and Bridge Lab that specializes in achieving and exceeding our client’s expectations. We are a family run company, with 3rd generation technicians at the helm.

Our vision goes beyond that of the traditional clinic/lab relationship, we are first and foremost a technology company that specializes in the dental field. We are proud that we have always been early adopters in new technology, and that has allowed us to position ourselves as the go to lab when it comes to technical innovation.

Jason Mejia MDC

Owner

Jason Mejia was first introduced to the dental lab industry when he was 18 years old. In that period of time, he developed a strong interest and passion for this profession as he soon went to school and graduated from UCLA in 2008 as a Master’s Dental Ceramist studying under Dr. Ed McLaren.

After graduation, he soon began to work for Vincent Devaud at his high-end dental laboratory for several years before starting his very own lab in 2011, California Dental Design.

As a SoCal native, Jason strives to provide his community with his expertise and skill set that focuses on both the patient and the dentist’s needs. With Jason’s high level of understanding of high esthetics combined with his ability to adapt to change in dental technology, he is able to provide quality insight and experience to his team and clients.

Laurie was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and is a proud mother to two beautiful children. She knew from a young age that the traditional 8-5 job was not for her. At the age of 18, she took her creative passion and launched Kiss My Boutique, a company that specializes in customized products with a little flair. She graduated from LSU with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication with a Minor in Business. She spent many years working with her family before deciding she wanted her career to go in a different direction. Her love of people and adapting to ever changing situations is where she found her stride. Eager to bring quality products hand in hand with excellent customer service is her driving force. Never one to meet a stranger, and always driven by results, she is eager to provide creative marketing solutions that are tailor made to meet and exceed her client’s needs, in tandem with an exceptional ability to achieve results that go beyond expectations

Mike was born and raised in Southern California. He is a proud dad of a LSU Vet student and another soon to be liger as well. He is a third generation dental technician with his family being involved in the dental lab field for over 70 years. Dental prosthetics are in his DNA. At the age of 16, he started working at his family’s Dental Lab after school and worked his way through college. He later went to work and study at Glidewell Laboratories in Newport Bean, and worked in other well known labs throughout Southern California. After he mastered his craft as a ceramist he ventured off on his own and was a Lab Owner for almost 7 years. During his time as a Lab Owner he discovered that he had a true passion for sales and marketing, so he realigned his objectives and applied them to the dental industry, which Is where he is currently generating massive results and thriving!
